It's supposed to be the Languange Issue, not religious. That's what i see it la bro. U'r right. How can a usage of word can confuse a Muslim. It's an Arabic word, it doesnt mean that those Arab are all Muslims right? if one of the muslims is chinese, he can always sya his prayer in chinese languange. God knows every single languange in this world, He is the creator of all.
Malaysian Muslim freaked out, paranoid la bro. Always like that since back then. Don't dare to challenge them bout religion though the are not that religious, dont dare to talk something bad about their ruler eventhough they also do it at the same time. :)

I've got to agree that it is disappointing that a single court ruling would trigger such violence, but that is usually the way of inflamed passions. However, I also see something interesting going on with what the Al-Jazeera segments show. That this hasn't just sparked an extremely violent reaction, but at the same time is leading to such an open dialog on such a sensitive subject as religion which is unfortunately the most ideal way to resolve such matters. I can only hope that there's a peaceful resolution to this matter, especially as our world moves onwards into the current century.
