So one day I decided to just give the drawing to the subject - for FREE! The result? Not only didn't I receive a thank you, I was given the look like I wanted to sell insurance.
The following week (today), I encountered the same group at the same restaurant. Guess what, they crept out as I was ordering my lunch. As soon as I was done with my meal, I noticed them checking out if the coast was clear as if I was a stalker!
Maybe people have completely embraced that nothing in life is free, but man..
Maybe I SHOULD have walked up to them and ask if they wanted to buy the drawing instead, huh? So, verdict: Free Drawing FAIL.

I guess people will always respond in different ways about something as nice as a free drawing. Some take it as a compliment, others are reaally creeped out ;o;

Man, that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Thing is, saying "thank you" never cost a dollar, so why does some people being so calculative about it? Hmm... mad world we're living in...

I guess I could understand them treating you like a stalker if they were a group of Muslim ladies as implied by the drawing; maybe they thought you were interested in them/marriage/something in a weird way, or that it was inappropriate.
But then again, that's assuming they were strictly religious, which I'm guessing wasn't the case :-/.
