Bye Bye Blogspot

I won't be updating this blog anymore.
My thoughts will be drawn instead and they'll be updated in my sketchbook: http://mohammadyazid.tumblr.com

See you!

Boys Don't Cry

Ink on paper.

Another sketchbook entry similar to the Sonic Death drawing. Below is a picture of Adam - the guy behind PeaceBeUponYou apparel - holding the laminated Sonic Death sketch.

Bangsar Car Wash

Managed to sketch a few pieces while waiting for my car at the wash near my office in Bangsar.
Colours were added later in Photoshop.

KFCM Always Wins

Growing up, I was never into football, not by a slim chance.
Recently however, the performance of the Malaysian football team has been getting a lot of buzz so I decided to follow the AFF Suzuki Cup match.

Since then, I have been a fan of the local team - particularly the main man Khairul Fahmi Che Mat.
The guy catches balls effortlessly... Err.. That did NOT come out right but yeah he made it look easy!

So this is my tribute to the Captain :D

The M.A.D Project - Make A Difference!

This week I have been blessed to have met 2 noble souls from Europe - Kamal and Nija. Together, they initiated a project called M.A.D (Make A Difference) which aims to rectify the stereotypical outlook on Islam in the eye of the Western world.

In hopes to change society through education, they both left their day jobs, set out to Muslim populated countries to document their findings, and bring it back to their homeland.

I was deeply moved by their intention and it inspired me to help them out in what I do best.

Here is hoping that they return safely from their next trip to Egypt because I can't wait to collaborate with them in the future!

Check out their website: The M.A.D Project or follow them on Facebook!
